Story Challenge of the Week

So... looks like someone already wrote a part of this one.
So… looks like someone already wrote a part of this one.

Well, it’s time for another story challenge! I got some good sleep last week, and had a great day today, which is no end of wonderful. I don’t know if any of the rest of you (at least the religious and spiritual among you) fight with God, but I do. He and I have been having a knockdown drag-out lately (as Selanya can tell you). The thing when you fight with God though… you always lose… always… no matter what. So, yeah, needless to say, I lost. Anyway, I wanted to do something a little bit different today. So, this is something that we do… or did… (we haven’t actually done it in a while) in the writing group I attend. I’ve going to give you a set of… things (you’ll see), and you’re job is to write a story that includes all of them.

Theme: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Genre: Dark Fantasy or Noir (you’re choice… or you could combine the two)

Setting: A Circus

Character Archetypes:

1) The Wizened Elder

2) The Trickster

3) An Indian Hero (you define ‘Indian’)

4) A Drunken Midget

1) That Thing That Saved the World That Time… You Know

2) The Bones of a Saint

3) A Saw
